So you have decided to take your employees on a fun day, to a trip in the beautiful north and the various sites it has to offer. The “problem” in the north is that there is so much to see, it’s a very large area that one could spend a whole month in.
But still, you want to focus, you want to take your employees to a few places in one day, so here is a sample itinerary you can choose, an itinerary that includes nature, wildlife, and the city of Haifa at its best.
Carmel Park – the place to start from
You start with greenery, and the always green mountain provides that without a doubt. There is nothing like nature at its best, nothing like amazing vegetation and animals around, and when talking about nature in the northern region, we mean Carmel Park. Carmel Park is not just one place but a collection of several national parks and nature reserves, stretching from the Meharal Valley and the Caves Stream to the southern borders of the city of Haifa and the town of Nesher located in the north. It has several streams like Nahal Nader and Nahal Kalach, it is home to animals like the Persian ibex and the Carmel deer, it has prehistoric and religious sites like the Monastery of Muhraqa, and it is also the place to stop for a particularly worthwhile breakfast picnic.
Continuing to Louis Promenade
So your employees have absorbed the nature and now they are calm and smiling, and this is exactly the time to take them to the city itself and to its cherry on top, which is the Louis Promenade. What is Louis Promenade? Louis Promenade is a promenade that stretches along Yefe Nof Street, it has existed for about thirty years and overlooks the view of Haifa Bay. You can see the Western Galilee and the Rami Ridge from a stunning observation terrace, there is a pool with a small statue in the “Yefe Nof” garden, and if you arrive in time for lunch, you can take advantage of the stay near the Dan Carmel Hotel and eat at its restaurant (of course, it is highly recommended to coordinate in advance).
The Educational Zoo in Haifa
Have you already arrived in Haifa? You cannot miss the Educational Zoo, and no, it is not just for children so your employees can also enjoy the visit very much. It has fascinating animals and among the birds, you can see the white stork, the snake eagle, and the Alexandrian parakeet, among the mammals you can see the Israeli gazelle and the Persian leopard, in reptiles you will see the Indian python, desert tortoises, and many others, and in general, you will be exposed to animals you probably didn’t know before.
There is no doubt that an employee trip can be an empowering experience for them, it can be a bonding journey that everyone will enjoy.
