However, the first structure did not survive and was rebuilt for the second time by a French company in 1912, and it has existed since then. The height of the lighthouse is 16 meters above sea level and it flashes every 7 seconds for a distance of 12 miles. It has stairs leading to the sea, but they are, of course, closed for descent.
