In the previous section, we were introduced to places where you can take children in the north, places that are not attractions for them but important points where they can learn a lot. We talked about the National Maritime Museum, the Railway Museum, the Museum of the Fighters of the Etzel and Lehi, and the memorial to the Jewish soldier in the Nazi extermination.
In the north, there are countless places of historical significance, and here is a taste of a few more points worth getting to know:

This museum was established in 1984 and is divided into three parts – the ancient oil industry, the beginning of the industry, and the contemporary oil industry. You can see the progress of the oil industry over the last 5000 years and the development of technology until the end of the 19th century. The museum has a lecture room and a terrace overlooking the oil beach, it has slides from different periods, certificates and photographs, and many testimonies to the oil industry over the years. It is one of the most fascinating museums for children.

The city of Haifa has quite a history, a history that can also interest children. The Haifa City Museum is another museum worth visiting with children, a museum that presents the diverse culture of the city regarding the different populations living side by side. The Memorial for the Fallen of Ahuza
History is also a mention of those who gave their lives for the revival of the state, and the Memorial for the Fallen of Ahuzat is one of the places that is important to visit with children. The memorial is one of several memorials in the different neighborhoods of Haifa that commemorate the fallen during the guarding and defense of them, and at the Memorial for the Fallen of Ahuzat, which is a black marble podium surrounded by an iron wall, the children were introduced to the stories of the neighborhood and the names of the fallen engraved in stone.
The Immigration and Navy Museum
The stories of the immigrants are stories directly related to the revival of the people and the state after the Holocaust, and the Immigration and Navy Museum tells this story in a special way that is also suitable for children. It has a special wing that deals with the history of the Navy, it has impressive photographs, ship models, and battle diagrams. There is quite a bit for children to learn about those days and to get to know the heroes of those times.
