Neve Yam Beach is a pastoral and quiet beach, a real gem where you can breathe deeply and relax. The beach is located on the western side of Kibbutz Neve Yam, adjacent to Atlit, and a short drive from the northern exit of the Carmel Tunnels. The beach is ideal for families and children, as well as for those who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and daily life. A few minutes’ drive from the beach is a water park with slides and attractions (entrance to the park area is for a fee).
Neve Yam Beach is a designated beach, with a special structure, stretching over a kilometer of white sand and calm sea thanks to the curved shape of the beach and the rocky coastline that borders it. Only part of the beach is a designated area that includes lifeguard services; this section is slightly narrower, with a width of about 75 meters. Due to its geographical location, on days of good visibility, you can see far into the Mediterranean Sea, all the way to Cyprus. The rocks on the western side of the beach create a stunning and unique sight of water splashing between the rocks in rhythm with the waves.

The beach is well-maintained and clean, attracting bathers from all over the country thanks to the organized parking available. Entrance to the beach is free. In addition to lifeguard services, Neve Yam Beach also has a restaurant, kiosk, restrooms, and showers. Another option for recreation at the beach is renting kayaks and paddle boats, for an additional fee. Additionally, a few dozen meters outside the designated beach area, you can find a shallow lagoon suitable for children’s wading, under adult supervision, of course.
It is important to know that similar to other designated beaches, and in order to protect the unique natural values at Neve Yam Beach, staying at the site is permitted only during swimming hours and camping is not allowed.

Directions from the Carmel Tunnels: From the southern exit of the tunnels, connect to Highway 2. Exit at the Atlit interchange and continue on the road to Kibbutz Neve Yam. Go up the bridge connecting Atlit to the kibbutz. Continue straight and arrive at the beach.
