About the Carmel Tunnels
The summer of 2021 was no ordinary summer. The corona virus and the various restrictions did not make life easy for us and what mainly characterized this summer, which was at the height of the fourth wave, was spending time in open places together with the desire to finally spend time, which was almost impossible the summer before.
The Haifa and Kiryat area was a tourist and travel area, because of the views, because of the people and because of the transportation convenience for which, among other things, the Carmel tunnels are responsible. Beaches in Kiryat as well as beaches in Haifa were full, and here are the 10 hottest destinations in this area in the summer of 2021.
1. Bat Galim Beach – This is a beach that is located in the Bat Galim neighborhood on its northern side, a beach that is half “hidden”, a beach that is suitable for those who are looking for peace and not the hustle and bustle. It is a beach that has a lawn and seating chairs, a shady and cozy beach, very cozy and very well maintained.

4. Carmel Beach – you said beaches in Haifa you said Carmel Beach. It is located next to the Leonardo Hotel and getting to it is simple and easy, it has football and beach volleyball fields as well as a water sports club. Next to it there is the promenade and the Dado beach that connects to it.
5. Kiryat Haim Beach – and if you said beaches in Kiryat, you said Neot Beach which is Kiryat Haim Beach. 8. Beit Shaarim National Park – Another interesting place that quite a few visitors have come and come to is Beit Shaarim National Park. This is a park where swans and waterfowl sail, a park where there are 1000 animals from all over the world. It has food buffets, a mini amusement park, a huge amphitheater, a kosher cafe and what’s up…

It’s all about transportation!
It was not for nothing that these were particularly hot destinations in the summer of 2021. Beyond the great interest they offer, they were also convenient to reach thanks to the Carmel tunnels, which make the trip a real experience and not a suffering both when there are children in the car and when the arrival is remote and requires several hours.
