“Neot” Beach (or by its old name “Kiryat Haim Beach”) is the beach of the northern neighborhood of Haifa, Kiryat Haim, in Haifa Bay. From the beach, there is a stunning view of Haifa Bay, and one can clearly see the city’s buildings built on the ever-green mountain.
Along the designated swimming area, there is a paved promenade that is 350 meters long, inviting many walkers to stroll along it and enjoy walking almost on the water without getting dirty from the sand. Along the promenade, there are numerous benches and wooden shelters, allowing those who wish to rest along the way and view Haifa from various observation points. In the area, one can find an old-style kiosk where one can meet the neighborhood veterans who tend to spend their free time playing backgammon.

In recent years, the beach has undergone massive rehabilitation, during which the promenade was renovated, the sea sand was restored and cleaned, and the public facilities were replaced and renovated. There are restrooms and showers open during swimming hours, a variety of playground equipment for children, as well as the option to rent lounge chairs and umbrellas. Additionally, adjacent to the beach is a hill with well-maintained grass, where picnics and children’s birthday parties can be held during the pleasant summer nights.
The beach attracts many bathers from the area and the country during the swimming season, thanks to its proximity to the city and the fact that one can walk along the promenade and the waterline. Many people spend their evenings walking along the shoreline and then resting on one of the many benches scattered along Neot Beach.
Along the road parallel to the waterline, one can find pubs open in the evening that offer a leisure experience by the water at night. Near the promenade, there are also public fitness facilities.
A short drive from the place leads to the entertainment center of the Krayot, Eilat Brothers Street, located on the eastern side of the neighborhood, where one can find a variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, and more.

Neot Beach is named after the Minister of Environmental Quality from 2001-2003, Yehudit Neot, who served as the Minister of Quality and was a resident of Kiryat Haim.
Entry is free.
There is a designated parking lot for public convenience.
